Athletic Trainer Rachel Joye

Rachel has worked in the field of Sports Medicine as a Certified Athletic Trainer for 17 years. During that time she has had the opportunity to work with high school, college, and professional athletes; as well as patients from 7-99 years of age in the clinical setting. In the clinical setting she provides a wide range of skills including: orthopedic examination of a variety of injuries, concussion evaluations, bracing/taping, and rehabilitation programs. In addition to her work as an athletic trainer, she taught classes at several universities in California and Pennsylvania as well as a local high school; she was a head coach at a D3 NCAA and high school fastpitch program; and coached several youth teams while supporting her 9 year old son. She grew up in this area, graduating from Klahowya Secondary School. She enjoys hiking, coaching, playing softball/basketball, watching the Tacoma Rainiers, and spending time with her family.
